How Quest Mouse Works

You and your party choose an adventure, pick characters, join a voice room from your browser, and play. From there, Quest Mouse runs like a regular D&D session. You say "I sneak up behind the goblin" or "I cast Sacred Flame on the closest zombie." The DM tells you what happens, calls for rolls, and moves the scene forward.

Quest Mouse approximates the feel of in-person D&D. It's voice-based. You roll your own dice. It'll never be perfect, but hopefully fun.

A few things Quest Mouse is not:

  • Not an AI-generated adventure machine.The adventures are hand-authored. The model runs them, it doesn't write them.
  • Not a virtual tabletop (yet). No grid, no tokens, no minis.
  • Not a replacement for a human DM. A good one will out-DM this thing all day.
